Want to access useful web sites that have the right sort of information, general knowledge or trivia to compile a quiz?  Or do you just want to learn more so you can go on Wheel of Fortune or 15 to 1?  Accessing this type of data by the web is not easy but, hopefully, these specific links will prove more fruitful than a search.

I'm not sure who originally said it but I heard it from Magnus Magnusson - "There is no such thing as trivia - only knowledge".  Well we've got news for you, Magnus - there is such a thing and it thrives on Web sites. 

In the UK 'trivia' generally means facts that are not well known but which are interesting and may be useful.  This is based on the Canadian usage brought about through the popularity of that pursuit of trivia that made it a household word.  In the States - 'trivia' can mean trivial information. To experiment, enter the word 'trivia' in your favourite search engine and see what you get - pages of garbage.
